General Appointment Tips
Help us keep your visit safe and smooth—please tidy up a small, clean area with a chair and table or counter space for supplies. We'll bring everything else!
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications 24–48 hours before injectable or microneedling services.
Stay hydrated and get plenty of rest before and after wellness treatments.
Let us know if you're feeling unwell, are pregnant, or taking any new medications.
Botox®
Before:
• Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, aspirin, or fish oil 24–48 hours beforehand to reduce bruising
• Avoid facials, microneedling, or laser treatments at least 2 weeks before
After:
• Do not rub or massage treated areas for 4–6 hours
• Avoid laying flat for at least 4 hours
• Skip exercise, saunas, and hot showers for 24 hours
• Results typically appear in 3–5 days and peak around 2 weeks
• Contact us if you experience excessive swelling, discomfort, or asymmetry
Dermal Fillers
Before:
• Avoid alcohol, NSAIDs, and blood thinners for 48 hours
• Let us know if you've had recent dental work or plan to soon
After:
• Expect mild swelling or bruising—this is normal
• Apply cold compresses gently if needed
• Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours
• Do not massage or manipulate the area unless instructed
• Final results settle in 1–2 weeks
Biostimulators
Before:
• Let us know if you're on any significant or abnormal medications.
After:
• Massage the treated area 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days (Sculptra® only)
• Avoid vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours
• Swelling or firmness may occur and will resolve over time
• Results develop gradually over several weeks to months
Peptide Therapies
Before:
• Instructions will vary depending on your treatment plan.
After:
• You'll receive a personalized protocol with dosage, injection instructions (if applicable), and follow-up support
• Reach out if you have any questions or need assistance with self-administration
Microneedling
Before:
• Discontinue retinoids, acids, and exfoliants 3–5 days prior
• Avoid sun exposure for at least 48 hours
After:
• Expect redness similar to a sunburn for 24–48 hours
• Do not wear makeup for at least 24 hours
• Avoid active skincare products for 3–5 days
• Use gentle cleansers and hydrating serums
• Wear SPF daily
Vitamin Drip Therapy
Before:
• Stay hydrated and eat a light snack beforehand
After:
• Keep the bandage on for 30–60 minutes
• Avoid strenuous activity for the rest of the day if feeling lightheaded
• Drink plenty of water to help flush your system and enhance results
• Contact us if you experience swelling, redness, or discomfort at the insertion site
Lab Testing
Before:
• Fasting may be required depending on the test panel—we'll let you know
• Drink water beforehand to make veins more accessible
After:
• Keep pressure on the draw site for 1–2 minutes
• Avoid heavy lifting or intense workouts with the arm used for the blood draw for the rest of the day
• Contact us if you experience prolonged bruising or tenderness
